Saveto Putty Fine is a water-based putty. It is supplied as a wet putty in pre-weighed pails or bags ready to use on-site. Saveto Putty Fine is a high-quality product that is used as a thin underlayment to repair undulations. It provides a very smooth surface finish that is ideal for subsequent application of paint & decorative coatings. Generally, Saveto Putty Fine can be applied in thicknesses less than 0.7mm.

USES

• Use for leveling of minor surface undulations.
• Apply internally in dry conditions onto the walls & ceilings.
• Use on concrete, plastered surfaces that are smooth, precast concrete surfaces, and on wood.
• Suitable for use over plastered surfaces with Saveto products, gypsum boards, and wood surfaces.
• Suitable for use over Vetonit Putty WR.

Saveto Putty Fine is supplied in 20kg plastic pails.

APPLICATION

Generally, apply Saveto Putty Fine in single or double coats.

Apply Saveto Putty Fine to the substrate by pressing the putty firmly. Use a flat trowel to work the mixed material to a smooth level.

Once the first coat dries, apply a second coat as necessary.

After applying Saveto Putty Fine, it is recommended to apply one coat of alkali-resistant primer followed by two coats of acrylic emulsion paint or other suitable coatings.
